Hi Josh, I met you through your mommy at Compassionate Friends. Many of us who never actually met you feel like we know you. Keep watching over your mom and say hi to Krystal for us. Close
Thank you / Kelly Tinley (new friend )
Kris, I am so greatful that I was able to meet you last night. You and Josh have touched my heart and given me inspiration. Thank you for inviting us to Josh's birthday party. I am looking forward to seeing you and helping you celebrate the life of your precious angel baby. That smile--it is something else, every photo. What a beautiful, beautiful boy. Josh is a lucky little boy to have a mommy like you. Thinking of you and Josh- Kelly Close
Prayers for you / Lily Forney
Dear Kris, Though we don't know each other well. Once again I got to see you on Easter Sunday and give you a hug as I was a greeter at the door you entered. There have been countless times I have seen you at church and my heart is always moved to pray for you. Probably because although circumstances are different, our hearts miss our precious children. It has been 3 years now for me and I still miss Lauren. I pray for you often and have wanted to come and share with you that God keeps laying you on my heart, but I guess the fact that I don't know you very well so I don't want you to be uncomfortable. God knows what you need so I just pray.
I enjoyed viewing the website and I will donate in the near future. What a wonderful way you have taken something that is hard for you and made it into a way to serve, help, protect other children. Praise God for your heart and I continue to pray healing for your grief.

Dear Kris,
As Board President, I want to thank you so much for your extremely generous donation to PEER SOLUTIONS. We very much appreciate your commitment to ending violence against children and reducing domestic violence in our midst. And we are so thrilled that you see the value of prevention as the most powerful tool to end violence and instill respect for all life.
On a personal note, I was so impressed by your website and your vigilence to keeping Joshua's memory alive for all of us. You are a wonderful mother and I can see from your words and your pictures that the love of your son is carried deep in your heart and soul. I am sure that everyday he is smiling down at you and is so proud to be able to tell the angels that you are HIS Mom!
God Bless you!
You are in our prayers.

Today, August 30, 2006, I happened to see the tribute you placed in the Arizona Republic yesterday marking the anniversary of your son's passing two years ago. I felt compelled to learn more about him as his picture conveys a boy with an amazing heart and soul. I have a four-year-old boy and nine-month-old twins who are my life, and I cannot begin to imagine what you have been going through over the past two years, but wanted you to know that your efforts have continued to allow Josh to touch other's lives -- even strangers. It is apparent that you are an amazing mom. Thank you for your courage and sharing a wonderful little boy's life with us.

I read your tribute in the AZ Republic this morning to your beautiful little boy. I have a little boy who was born on July 22, 1999 and so am sitting here reading about Josh and crying. I thought what could have happened your little boy and so found your site.
I'm am so sorry you had and have to go through this. I cannot imagine the pain. I think your web site is wonderful and Josh's Hope is a wonderful legacy to him.

It has been over a year since the first time I somehow came across your website. I was on the Memory-Of site helping my cousin put together a page for her sister who was taken from us in Oct 2002. I believe that there is/was a profound reason for me to view your son’s page, 1) my nephew was born July 17, 2000, he died from SIDS when he was 3 months old and 2) my cousin (who was like my sister) was taken as a result of domestic violence, her “boyfriend” shot and killed her in front of her 2 year old daughter in a moving vehicle. I commend you for the work you are doing for the safety of other people’s children (I have read some of the articles about the case and the television special from last year). I am so sorry for your loss. Close

Kris, don't know if you got my last email. I respect what you are going through. Some don't make it. If it wasn't for my belief in God I wouldn't be here today. And I'm not a religious fanatic. My son and his best friend were murdered in 1991 in Scottsdale. They were both 23. Having someone to talk to that has been there helps. Becky gave me your name. I am sorry to hear about Josh. Good and terrible things happen in our lives. You will see Josh again. If you want call me daytime 800-733-4050, cel 520-850-5818 or email me. Maybe we can help each other. Love to you and Josh.

Hi Kris, You have been in my thoughts so often. I remember little Josh from Pam's wedding. He was so cute and happy and energetic. I am so sad for your loss and heartbreak and for your family's, also. You were and still are a very special mother to Josh. Remember that many people are thinking of you and praying for you. Dear Kris, I don't know how I missed this web-site last December when you created it. I really feel memory is just so compromised after we lose our kids. This second year is oh so much worse than the first, if that is even possible. Joshua is such a beatiful boy. His eyes just radiate love. I can somwhat feel the pain you have from not being able to hug him, read to him and hear his precious words. I cannot imaging the frustration or anger you have related to the fact that this was not an accident. Joshua should be here to live life to the fullest. Denny and I will support your cause and $300.00 should be easily raised. No father should ever be able to get a chance to do this to their child ever again. Thinking of you. See Joshua every day on my refrigerator. He is just so precious. Heartfelt thoughts and prayers, Donna Ebel Close

Dear Joshie, I talk to you every day as your picture is on my dresser. I think you know how much I love you . You were such a special precious boy from the time we met when you were two. I missed you when you turned three and could go with the "big kids" But at least we still saw each other from time to time at church. And I prayed for you and asked God to protect you and your mommy. I was so happy when you called me "grandma". You are in my heart forever. No one will ever forget your beautiful smile. What a precious angel you are. Love you Grandma June Close
