Dear Handsome Joshua,

Your photo with your kitty Tiger caught my attention.  Your blond hair and handsome face reminded me of someone special I used to know.  Your love of your kitty Tiger reminded me of his love for his kitty Beau.  Your photogenic abilities reminded me of his modeling portfolio photos.  

To Joshua's Mommy:

I am sooooooo sorry for the loss of Joshua.  He was so handsome.  Your photos were incredible.  The very number of them was remarkable.  Your love for eachother is so obvious.  His obituary photo in yesterday's paper really touched my heart.  So much so, that I felt compelled to write you this note.  This is the very first time I felt like sharing and reaching out to another person who lost a child.  Thank you.               

The someone special I am sharing about was my little brother Kyle.  His was just 16 years old when a so-called friend shot and killed him.  My family and I just went to the sentencing hearing where the killer only received the minimum sentence.  This in spite of the judge receiving many letters requesting the maximum sentence.

Kyle Alexander Weis 1/2/1991 - 11/5/2007 Handsome, Smart and Funny are the best words to describe my little brother.

I happened to catch the August 29th edition of the EV tribune and I was immediatly drawn to the sweet face at the bottom of the page. I have a 4yr old and a 2yr old and can not imagine the courage and strength you have to press on for yourself and others. I admire your continued support for organizations that protect children.  I visited Joshua's website and looked at every picture, he was such a happy child. The world has missed his smiling face but the heavens have embraced his love. May you find strength and courage in all of his beautiful memories. He is truely an Angel. Close

I come visit Josh's site from time to time & have even found his fish at the Georgia Aquarium with my kids.  We're about to start another year of school here & you are always on my mind especially at this time of year.  This year my youngest, Sean, will be starting kindergarten and I think about you and your Josh every time I look at him.

I was doing a search this evening trying to find the name of the Senior's Program my son runs in Ithica, NY. His name is Joshua Aaron Eberle. I found your site and wanted to send you a blessing. My son Joshua is now 28 years old. He had a rough start in life, arriving 2.5 months early at 3lbs. He went down to 2.5 lbs. and then began growing.

He has been a true blessing in our lives.

I am so sorry that your special treasure was lost. I pray that God would grant you lives to bless you in ways that you could only dream of. That the Lord would keep Joshua tucked closely in his bossom until you're reunited and able to greet him with all the love you've been storing up.

Today, Aug 29,2007, I saw the memorial in the Republic for 'Joshie' and my heart just sank. My eyes started to tear up and I had to keep from crying. My deepest condolences go to Joshua's mother for losing her precious son 3 years ago. I cannot begin to understand the pain and sorrow that you must feel for losing Joshua.Joshua is truly an Angel and I know he is missed immensly by all those who's lives he touched. Close
